For those with an interest in Irish Genealogy, the New England Historic and Genealogical Society hosts meetings of the Irish Genealogy Study Group led by Mary Ellen Grogan. The group usually meets in the second-floor Education Center at NEHGS on the fourth Saturday of the month from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Please check the weekly NEHGS newsletter for any changes in meeting times. The next meeting of the study group is today from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
Mary Ellen Grogan will lead an afternoon workshop on Griffith's Valuation at the Massachusetts Genealogical Council seminar at Brandeis University on Saturday, July 21, 2012. I'm sorry I won't be able to benefit from Mary Ellen Grogan's workshop at the MGC seminar but I'll look forward to joining the Irish Study Group on August 25th at NEHGS. I've already booked my flight so I hope noone will think of canceling it ;-)
